People who seek counseling are usually looking for support, and an objective sounding board to help them make necessary changes in their lives.

Many of my clients have never been to counselor before, but their situation is causing them too much distress, and they need to talk with someone. There are always ways to move forward in our lives in positive and productive directions, and I use an eclectic counseling approach to help my clients get there including: psychodynamic, CBT, solution focused, IFS, and supportive counseling.

I received my master’s degree in Clinical Counseling Psychology with a concentration in Industrial Organizational Psychology from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, PA. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in PA, and have a diverse background in human services spanning many years with experience as a recruiter, trainer, instructor and manager. Licensed Clinical Social Worker

Specializing in Anxiety, Depression, and Family Issues for Children, Teens and Families.

Your story matters and is unique to you. There is not a “one size fits all” approach to therapy so I will spend time understanding your experiences. I believe the client is the only expert on their own difficulties.

I work to develop a personalized approach to address stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, or family and relationship issues. Regardless of what brings you to therapy, sessions allow you to gain self-awareness and learn ways to find balance and overall well-being.

I enjoy building upon clients’ strengths, instilling hope, and providing a safe, warm, and accepting space to look inside and explore your thoughts and feelings. When my clients are struggling with pain from the past or worries about the future, which are making it hard to enjoy the present, I will help them develop better ways of coping.  I received my Master’s Degree from Rutgers University in 2004 and I am a licensed clinical social worker (LCSW). I have considerable experience working with children and families. My clinical experience includes working in both inpatient and outpatient settings as well as providing individual and family therapy to children and families. I employ various modalities including cognitive behavioral therapy, supportive therapy, as well as mindfulness and play therapy interventions.
